This unique piece was started during a weekend workshop in Rakiura in 2024, as an invited tutor to the island. It began as a creative challenge, giving a photocopy of a Rakiura map to workshop participants as some what of a design challenge to apply collage, and a range of creative picture making techniques.
Landforms, sky, birds, including the mageistc titi flying in their thousands across the horizon line, stenciled pebbles machine embroidered, found fishing net and wire adorn the foreground.

Frame: Presented on White Matt board and set in a white shadow box frame. Two D-rings secured on the back made for easy hanging.
